I’m a multilingual British freelance writer, journalist and editor based in London. I have three years’ experience freelance writing for magazines and newspapers, both online and print. My bylines include The Guardian, The Independent, The Pool, Oh Comely, Dazed, Stylist, Refinery29, Positive News, SheKnows, Glamour, Women’s Health and The Millions. I am the founding editor of Cunning Folk, a new independent magazine about magic, folklore, mythology and the occult.
Irrespective of subject matter, I think stories should be accessible to all. I love writing about veganism and women’s health - I’m equally happy putting together a political report about women’s rights or a literary essay - I read a lot. I have interviewed a number of artists from different mediums including Yuri Herrera, Roger Ballen, Fiona Mozley, Norman Reedus, Viet Thanh Nguyen, Farshid Moussavi and Eddie Peake.
I also have experience as a TV researcher and photographer. I assisted on a 6-week Magnum assignment, and my own photographs have appeared in L'Officiel Italia, The Independent, Something Curated and Parts Unknown (CNN).
I have an MA in Italian and French from the University of Edinburgh.
